Abstract


They are primordial factors so that if it can more evaluate the intensity the pain in the possible way adjusted the search of information on the physical and emotional causes that influence the perception of the individual related with the painful perception and to know to monitor its pain. The objective was to identify to the scientific production of nursing, determining the best available evidence for the care of the critical customer with pain in intensive therapy. It was a computerized bibliographical research and manual, of studies of the period of 2003 the 2008, the disinformation of the nurse on the results of the methods of control of chronic pain can take not to evaluate it it of systematic form, to subestimar the frequency of occurrence of pain and to ignore the devastador impact of pain for the individual.
